For the last 9 years, we have mentored young people in schools with diverse needs, who may be struggling to get on in their education.
Through mentoring we aim to provide positive role models to listen and help young people down a path of self-resolution and support, encouraging them to raise their aspirations and empowering them with the skills, confidence and character they’ll need to realise their full potential.
Schools love the mentoring program and see it as a “valuable and much-needed resource”. An NSPCC officer had the opportunity to see the work we do with students and commented that “every school should have this”.
We currently do group and one-to-one mentoring in schools in areas such as managing emotions, mental health and well-being, self-esteem, promoting good behaviour, peer relationships and social skills, and family support using created and collated resources and techniques.
